What: The Big Latch On in honor of World Breastfeeding Week

When: Friday, August 2, 2013

Time: Arrive at 10 am to register, Latch On is right at 10:30 am

Where: Flagpole Plaza, corner of Livermore Avenue and First Street, in Livermore.

In front of Demitri’s Taverna. Bring: Your nursling(s), a blanket to sit on, snacks, water and sunscreen. Breastfeeding moms – let’s break the world record for the most women breastfeeding simultaneously! Join the ladies of La Leche League of Livermore/Mountain House for the annual synchronized breastfeeding event “The Big Latch On.” The event, held in honor of World Breastfeeding Week, will occur on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Flagpole Plaza, corner of Livermore Avenue and First Street, in Livermore. Moms and their nurslings are asked to arrive around 10 am to get registered and settled in. Shortly thereafter, all moms will be asked to “latch on!” for a full minute while we count the number of babies latched. After the event, we’ll have time to chat and socialize.
