Hi everyone,
Caroline is starting a new moms group (drop in) this Friday at 3:30pm. It will happen every Friday in April and May. She wanted to have a space where moms she works with can come back and share new questions or concerns, but it’s open to all moms. Caroline’s focus is to create a space where moms can exchange about their experience and support each other, while having their parenting or (basic) breastfeeding questions answered. It can be especially appropriate for all new moms who seem to have a lot of questions, feel isolated and possibly dealing with some anxiety – although not exclusively. It will happen at Rites of Passage Midwifery office space, it’s a cosy and comfy space with tea, a scale, a changing area, easy parking, etc. If she gets enough interest, she will start it again in August.
Time: every Friday 3:30-5pm.
Address: 62 Hattie St in San Francisco
Fee: $30 ($20 for moms I worked with previously)
Focus: all moms and babies are welcome (not a breastfeeding focused group. there might be some specific topics occasionally – moms can email me if they plan on coming and want more info: caroline.kerherve@gmail.com).
Leader: IBCLC, postpartum doula, psychologist.
Caroline will also have a new 6 weeks series starting on April 25th. Please spread a word /tell moms with babies born in Feb, March and April! Fridays 1-3pm. More intimate setting and same moms each week to promote a group dynamic, a pre-defined topic each week, and resources provided in between sessions about going back to work, sleep, pumping, etc.
